Mac is a respected and sought after opinion leader with over 35 years of corporate and entrepreneurial expertise creating companies, brands and industries.
As a corporate executive he helped build the direct marketing and CRM industries in Mexico and Latin American by founding and running the first transnational direct marketing agency in Mexico called Ogilvy Direct which helped American Express launch Gold Card, Corporate Card and Travel Related Services in the country. He also served as Accor Mexico’s chief innovation officer helping them conceive and launch service vouchers, smart cards and B2B services.
He is currently founder and president of “Grow With Mac”, though which he helps individuals and corporations become more fit for the future.
In the sphere of adult education he has helped conceive, marketed and execute dozens of commercial, innovation, hospitality and political marketing summits, some in partnership with the Universities of Cornell, UCLA, George Washington and Laussane. He has also worked with thought leaders like Gary Hamel, Adrian Slywotzky, Phillip Kotler and Seth Godin to bring forward thinking to the Latin-American business community.
Currently he works with companies, governments, and associations helping them become more fit for the future by capitalizing disruptive innovation, creating deep value for all stakeholders and using state of the art marketing to to build more profitable and sustainable business relationships.
From 2006 to 2016 he conducted a highly rated “think tank” commentary in the leading morning news radio program in Mexico “La Red de Radio Red”. He is the author of “Los principios del éxito HOY” (Today’s Success Principles edited in 2011), co-editor of “Porqué México SÍ” (Why Mexico NOW edited in 2013) and author of the e-books/audiobook “Liderazgo Visionario” (Visionary Leadership). He is also a regular contributor to various publications and a popular blogger and podcaster.
Mac has executed 500 strategic marketing campaigns and delivered over 500 highly acclaimed keynotes in Mexico and abroad.

On a more personal note Mac considers himself a citizen of the world because of his multicultural background. He was born to a Russian father and an American mother. His wife is French. He has lived in the US, Mexico, Canada, Colombia and France and is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
